Microcement Floors
Seamless, grout-free flooring for residential and commercial spaces.
The Future of Flooring
Why Microcement Floors Are Replacing Tile Across Dallas
Microcement flooring has quickly become the finish of choice for architects, interior designers, and homeowners seeking a modern, seamless aesthetic without the limitations of traditional materials. Unlike tile with its inevitable grout lines, or polished concrete with its weight and cracking tendencies, microcement delivers a monolithic surface that flows continuously from room to room — creating a sense of openness and luxury that no other flooring material can match.
ATRIA's microcement system is not a generic cement overlay. It is a proprietary polyurethane-dolomite formulation manufactured in Sicily, Italy — the only system of its kind available in the United States. Where most microcement brands rely on acrylic resins that yellow over time and soften under heat, ATRIA uses modified polyurethane resins blended with crushed dolomite aggregates. The result is a floor that achieves 32 MPa compressive strength, resists temperatures from -10°C to +120°C, and maintains its color integrity for decades.
Whether you are renovating a mid-century modern home in Dallas, outfitting a new restaurant in Fort Worth, or designing a luxury loft in Deep Ellum — ATRIA microcement floors deliver the performance of commercial-grade concrete with the beauty of a handcrafted artisan finish. Every floor is unique, troweled by hand, and sealed with our industry-exclusive two-component polyurethane topcoat for lasting protection.
Advantages
Benefits of Microcement Floors
Zero Grout Lines
One continuous surface from wall to wall. No grout to clean, no joints to crack. The ultimate low-maintenance floor.
100% Waterproof
Sealed with our two-component Atriapol Antibacterial polyurethane topcoat, microcement floors are completely impervious to water — safe for kitchens, laundry rooms, and entryways.
Ultra-Thin Application
At just 2–3mm total thickness, microcement overlays directly onto existing substrates — concrete, tile, even wood — without raising floor heights or affecting door clearances.
Commercial-Grade Durability
SuperTitanium BC achieves 32 MPa compressive strength at 28 days. Restaurants, retail stores, and high-traffic lobbies perform beautifully for years.
Unlimited Color Options
Custom-tinted to any shade. From warm Tuscan earth tones to cool Scandinavian grays — your floor, your palette.
Radiant Heat Compatible
Microcement's thin profile and excellent thermal conductivity make it the ideal partner for underfloor heating systems.

Residential
Microcement Floors for Homes
Open-plan living demands open-plan flooring. Microcement floors eliminate the visual interruptions of grout lines and material transitions, creating a continuous surface that makes rooms feel larger, brighter, and more cohesive.
Popular in kitchens, living areas, master suites, and entryways, microcement integrates seamlessly with underfloor heating — its thin profile and thermal conductivity make it more efficient than tile or stone. Homeowners in Dallas love the combination of European luxury with Texas-scale living spaces.
Available in over 60 standard colors plus unlimited custom shades, your floor becomes a design element rather than an afterthought. Warm sand tones for Mediterranean villas, cool ash grays for contemporary lofts, deep charcoals for dramatic statements — the palette is yours.

Commercial
Microcement Floors for Business
Restaurants, boutique hotels, retail stores, medical offices, and corporate lobbies across Dallas-Fort Worth are choosing microcement for its combination of durability and design flexibility. SuperTitanium BC's 32 MPa compressive strength handles heavy foot traffic, rolling loads, and the demands of commercial life.
Installation is faster than tile — no waiting for grout to cure, no expansion joints to plan around. Most commercial projects are completed in 5–7 working days, minimizing business downtime. And because microcement overlays existing floors, there is no demolition waste, no disposal costs, and no structural concerns.
The seamless surface is not just beautiful — it is hygienic. With no grout lines to harbor bacteria, microcement is ideal for food service, healthcare, and wellness environments where cleanliness is paramount.
Installation Process
How We Install Microcement Floors
A five-step system engineered for maximum adhesion, durability, and beauty. Every layer serves a purpose.
Surface Preparation
We assess and prepare the existing substrate. Concrete is ground and profiled. Tiles are cleaned and degreased. Cracks are repaired with flexible fillers. The surface must be flat, clean, and structurally sound.
Primer Application
Atriafloor Primer is rolled onto the prepared surface, creating a chemical bond between the substrate and the microcement system. For floors, this is followed by the rasante base coat.
Rasante Base Coat
Two coats of Atriafloor Rasante One — a cementitious skim coat reinforced with synthetic polymers — create a high-strength structural base specifically engineered for foot traffic.
Microcement Finish Coats
Two coats of SuperTitanium BC or Titanium are applied by steel trowel. Each coat is sanded between applications. This is where the color, texture, and character of your floor come to life.
Sealer & Protection
Two coats of New Atriapol Antibacterial — our industry-rare two-component polyurethane topcoat — seal the surface. The result: waterproof, stain-resistant, UV-stable, and ready for life.
The ATRIA Difference
Why Choose ATRIA for Your Floors
Polyurethane, Not Acrylic
Most microcement brands use acrylic resins — cheaper but prone to yellowing, softening under heat, and lower mechanical strength. ATRIA's polyurethane-dolomite formula is fundamentally superior in every measurable way.
Made in Sicily Since 1961
Colorificio Atria has been formulating coatings in Sicily for over 60 years. This is not a startup brand — it is decades of Italian chemistry expertise distilled into every bucket.
Two-Component Sealer
Our Atriapol Antibacterial is one of the only two-component polyurethane topcoats in the microcement industry. It delivers dramatically better hardness, chemical resistance, and UV stability than single-component alternatives.
Local Support in Dallas
ATRIA USA is based right here in Dallas, Texas. We provide hands-on training, technical support, and product supply to contractors and applicators across the DFW metroplex and beyond.

Common Questions
Microcement Floor FAQ
With proper installation and maintenance, ATRIA microcement floors last 15–25+ years. The polyurethane-dolomite formula is exceptionally durable, and the Atriapol Antibacterial sealer can be recoated periodically to refresh the surface without any demolition.
Yes. Microcement is an overlay system — it bonds directly to existing tile, concrete, self-leveling compound, and many other substrates. This eliminates costly and messy demolition. The total added thickness is only 2–3mm.
No. The matte and satin finishes of Atriapol Antibacterial provide excellent slip resistance. For wet areas or commercial kitchens, we can add anti-slip additives to the topcoat for enhanced traction without compromising aesthetics.
Installed microcement floors in Dallas typically range from $15–$30 per square foot depending on surface condition, complexity, and finish. This is competitive with high-end tile or polished concrete, with far less demolition and downtime.
