Warranty

What we stand behind, in writing — on the work we install and the materials we sell.

Workmanship warranty on installed work

Every installation performed by ATRIA USA carries a written workmanship warranty, graded by the service tier your substrate requires. The tier — and its warranty — is stated on your estimate and confirmed at the substantial-completion sign-off, so you know exactly what is covered before work begins.

Fast tier

1-year workmanship warranty

For sound substrates in good condition that accept the system directly with minimal preparation.

Standard tier

2-year workmanship warranty

The tier most projects fall into — includes substrate preparation such as tile removal, backer-board prep, or self-leveling before the system is built.

Full Build tier

3-year workmanship warranty

The complete engineered build-up for demanding substrates and wet zones — full preparation, reinforcement, and system stack, documented layer by layer.

The workmanship warranty covers defects in the application of the system — such as delamination, cracking originating in the installed layers, or finish failure under normal use — and is honored by repair or re-application of the affected area at our cost.

Product support on ATRIA materials

ATRIA materials are manufactured in Italy under ISO 9001 quality management, and every product ships with a published technical data sheet stating its tested performance. Store purchases are covered by our goodwill defective-product policy: if a product arrives with a manufacturing defect — incorrect contents, contamination, or packaging damage compromising the product — notify us within fourteen (14) days of delivery with photos and your order number, and we will replace the product or refund its purchase price. This is a goodwill policy under our Terms of Sale, not a product warranty — products sold through the store are supplied as described in Section 11 of those terms. Materials used outside their published TDS parameters — wrong substrate, skipped primer, incorrect dilution or cure conditions — fall outside product support, which is one of the reasons we publish the full system documentation and train installers on it.

What is not covered

  • Structural movement of the building, substrate failure beneath the system, or cracking that telegraphs from the substrate beyond stated tolerances.
  • Damage from impact, abuse, improper cleaning agents, or standing water beyond the design exposure of the installed assembly.
  • Work performed by installers outside the ATRIA network on materials we supplied — their workmanship is warranted by them, not by ATRIA.
  • Normal wear, patina, and color development that is characteristic of the finish (for example, oxidation finishes are designed to evolve).

How to make a claim

Email sales@atria-usa.com or call (972) 946-5741 with your project or order reference and photos of the issue. We respond within two business days, and most claims begin with an on-site inspection for installed work.

This page is a plain-English summary and does not modify or expand any agreement. The controlling terms for an installation are those stated in your written project agreement and tier selection; for store purchases, the Terms of Sale (including the warranty disclaimer in Section 11) control in the event of any conflict with this page.
